Generally, it’s a good idea to keep your domains locked, for an added layer of security.
Steps to lock/unlock a domain name at Uniregistry
1. Log in to your account at Uniregistry.com using the ‘LOG IN’ button in the upper-right corner of the homepage.
2. Click ‘Manage’ from the menu at the top of the page.
3. From here you can quickly see the transfer lock status for your domains by noting whether the padlock icon is open or closed.
4. If the padlock icon is open, it means that the domain is currently unlocked. To lock it, simply click the icon once and wait a few moments for the padlock to close. To unlock a domain, click a closed padlock and wait a few moments for it to open.
