What is an 'Authorization Code' or 'EPP Code'?

The Authorization or EPP Code is a unique code assigned to every domain name as a layer of protection against unauthorized transfers of your domain name registration.

In order to transfer your domain name to Uniregistry, you will need to make sure your domain name is unlocked and have an Authorization Code – also known as an EPP code or key.

(See ‘Where do I get the “Authorization Code” for a domain name?’)
