This article will provide more in-depth information on how to edit domains using the "Upload a File" method. This method of bulk editing domain settings is quite advanced, and is only recommended for updating large amounts of data. If you do not yet have a Uniregistry account, or have not yet joined the Market, please refer to the articles below:
Editing domains using this method
Once logged in to your account, click on the "Market" tab from the top menu to access your Market dashboard.
Click the “Market Domains” tab from the left-hand menu and select the "All Domains" portfolio.
Click the blue "Domain Tools" button and select "Edit Domains" from the drop-down menu
Click on the "Upload a file" tab and download a pre-formatted template from the drop-down menu.
In this example, we have downloaded the "Sales Settings Only" template and will update the domain capitalization on a few domains that are already in our account. To do this, we will only keep the domain and domain_display columns in the file and will delete all other columns. Paste a list of domains that you want to update from your account in the domain column and domain_display column. Change the capitalization of the domains in the domain_display column and save the file to your computer.
Upload the file by clicking on the "Drop or click here to upload a text file (CSV)" and click the green "Apply Settings" button.
You will now see that the first letter of each domain in the list that you pasted in the template has had the capitalization updated.
**Please see the PDF attachment below for more information regarding the fields and range of values accepted for the file/template upload.
